Robert Conrad plays Sergeant Jack Stewart in this true story about a legendary Waco, Texas police officer whose tenacious persistence has made him a local legend.

When Jack is assigned to the grisly triple murder of a young man and two beautiful young women, he finds the scene so horrifying that he makes a personal vow not to rest until the perpetrators are brought to justice. Disturbed by the other detectives’ lack of enthusiasm for the case, he pursues his own investigation. With no evidence, and his only lead coming from the psychic “vision” of one woman (Sharon Farrell), Stewart follows his instincts and focuses on a cold-hearted maniac (William McNamara), who is known for boasting about his crimes.

What Stewart unravels is a complicated ring of offenders whose greed and viciousness amount to nothing but costing the lives of three innocent teenagers.

Through old-fashioned police work, a mixture of cunning and forays into the world of psychic phenomenon, Jack finally brings the killers to justice and satisfies his pledge to the dead victims.
