LONE RIDER
An honoured soldier returns to his embattled home town in the American West to face old enemies, and a new life-and-death struggle to protect himself and his family from a ruthless landowner desperate to get his hands on their cash strapped business.
An honoured soldier returns to his embattled home town to face old enemies, and a new life-and-death struggle to protect himself and his family whatever the cost.
In the American West, Medal of Honour-winner Bob Hattaway (Golden Globe nominee Lou Diamond Phillips, The Triangle) returns home to Pelton, Nevada where a lot has changed since he left. With a railroad coming through town, ruthless Stu Croaker (Vincent Spano, Alive) is aiming to become the largest landowner in the county. Filthy rich and corrupt to the bone, he has everyone on his payroll, a gang of killer thugs under his thumb, and he’s in control of every major business in town except for the one that’ll give him a monopoly on the promising new whistle stop: Overland Pride, the Hattaway’s cash-strapped family business. But Bobby isn’t going to let that happen.
Paying off his father’s (Golden Globe Nominee Stacy Keach, Prison Break) already heavy debt to Stu, hiring a new staff including his sharp new sweetheart Serena Sanchez, and using every skill he honed in the war, Bob gets Overland back on track. But when Stu’s strong-armed tactics turn deadly, Bobby resorts to fighting back with a vengeance. His first target is laying waste to Stu’s biggest and shadiest moneymaker, the local gambling saloon. But out of its ashes, Stu emerges with even greater force. What he wants, he gets. This time, it’s Hattaway blood. The town takes sides. Enemies face off. This is the West, and it’s going to get wild.
With heartening family drama and adrenaline-pumping action, Lone Rider is a western with guts, glory, and a powerful message.
