DOUBLE WEDDING
What’s next for a pair of beautiful twin sisters when they fall for the same guy, but he is left unaware he’s dating two very different sisters? Be prepared for an unexpected screwball comedy with twice the heart.
Beautiful twin sisters raised to be separate but equal. No “matchy-matchy,” their mother said, and there’d be no competitions—just two completely individual-minded young women going their own ways. Boy, how wrong could they have been?
Deanna Warren is a buttoned-up control freak of a career-obsessed attorney and she likes it like that—or so she says to Jaz Goodwin, her paralegal, who secretly signs up Deanna on a dating website. Deanna’s twin sister, Danielle, is a cake decorator (a delicious way to express her artistic side), who’s open to relationships—at least a decent one for a change. Together, Deanna and Danielle are planning a wedding—their grandparent’s wedding, the lavish kind the dear old couple couldn’t afford 50 years ago. A great anniversary present that would be greater if Deanna and Danielle had dates. Then, thanks to TheOne.com, Deanna is matched-up with sexy architect Tate Kelly, and she’s not disappointed. At all.
But when Tate accidentally comes across Danielle the next day, a simple screwball case of mistaken identity leads to an impromptu afternoon date—the all important “second one” for Tate, and it’s even better than the first. It’s a first for Danielle anyway—letting herself get swept off her feet by handsome “stranger.” And she’s not disappointed. At all. Tate, too, is thrilled, even if his new girlfriend seems to switch moods like a pair of shoes. But to him, she’s perfect: an attorney who loves to bake. But when the sisters finally, and literally, put two and two together they realise that only one of them can get the perfect guy. But which one? Any how and when do they ever break it to Tate?
