In 1985 Stackhouse’s and Bradley’s worst nightmare came true when their children were mistakingly gunned down by drug dealers and left to die. When the justice system failed, “Stack” and Bradley took it upon themselves to bring their children’s killers in after they had skipped bail and were headed South. They succeeded, Peter Lugar was killed and William Wilder was sent to Federal prison.
A lot has changed in eight years. Bradley’s wife is fighting a losing battle with alcohol to forget her pain. Bradley cannot forget his. Stack is working as a night watchmen and has lost his wife to cancer. William Wilder has escaped from prison and is on the run with Leonard Kapskin, a former Mafia accountant hiding from the Feds and the Chicago Mob.
Bradley flies out to Chicago to convince Stack to catch Wilder again. Reluctantly, Stack agrees to the man hunt and the race against time begins.
